Summary

This summary is offered to help you understand the key points of our Terms of Service. It is not a substitute for the full Terms below, which form the legally binding agreement between you and The Traveler’s Triptych™.

  • What we do: We provide curated travel content, Pre-Planned Itineraries, and Bespoke Travel Design Services. We are not a travel agency and do not book flights or operate tours.
  • Your responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate information, review all third-party terms and conditions, and make final decisions about whether destinations, routes, venues, or activities are appropriate for your needs.
  • Third-party providers: We may recommend hotels, restaurants, tours, and other services operated by independent providers. These third parties have their own policies and are solely responsible for their services. We cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, safety, or performance.
  • Bookings and on-site payments: The Traveler’s Triptych™ does not book flights, hold client funds, or act as a merchant of record. Pre‑Planned Itineraries and other Digital Products do not include booking services; you are responsible for making and paying for all bookings directly with third‑party providers. In some Bespoke Travel Design engagements, and only where expressly agreed in writing, we may provide limited on‑the‑ground booking assistance using your payment details, but you remain the contracting party with each provider and are responsible for reviewing and approving all booking details and supplier terms.
  • Cancellations and refunds: Bespoke Travel Design Services require a non-refundable initial payment once work begins. Downloadable Pre-Planned Itineraries are non-refundable. Updated or refreshed versions of previously purchased itineraries may be available for an additional fee.

  • Intellectual property: Our itineraries, photography, writing, and Digital Products are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. They are provided for your personal, non‑commercial use and may not be copied, reproduced, redistributed, adapted for client use, or resold without our prior written permission or a separate license.
  • Limitations of liability: We are not liable for injuries, losses, delays, accessibility barriers, weather, closures, or any issues arising from third-party services, force majeure, or your travel decisions.

Please read the full Terms of Service below to understand your rights and obligations.

1. Use At Your Own Risk

All itineraries, recommendations, articles, maps, travel notes, and personalized planning services are provided for informational and personal use only. While we strive to offer accurate, up-to-date, well-researched, and experience-based insights, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability, safety, cost, or quality of any destinations, accommodations, transportation, restaurants, tours, events, or third-party services mentioned in our materials.

Travel inherently involves risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, property loss, service disruptions, safety issues, closures, political developments, weather, and logistical changes. You accept full responsibility for any travel decisions you make based on our content or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Traveler’s Triptych™ disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our content and services.

2. Accuracy of Information and Updates

Travel information changes frequently. Prices, hours, availability, safety conditions, cultural regulations, holiday and event calendars, ticketing systems, opening times, visa and entry requirements, accessibility conditions, and other factors may change without notice.

Our itineraries and other content may include a “Last Updated” date reflecting when the information, research, and recommendations were last reviewed. We may revise, update, or improve our content periodically, but we do not guarantee that any free content, Digital Product, Pre-Planned Itinerary, or Bespoke Service deliverable will be updated on a fixed schedule or that all information will remain current, complete, or accurate at the time of your travel.

You are solely responsible for verifying current information directly with venues, service providers, official authorities, and other relevant sources before making any booking, reservation, purchase, or travel decision, regardless of whether the information came from our free content, Downloadable Itineraries, or Bespoke Services.

If Bespoke Services for a particular engagement expressly include limited booking assistance, the client remains responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all booking details, traveler information, supplier terms, and reservation terms before completion. Where Bespoke Services do not include booking assistance, The Traveler’s Triptych™ provides planning and recommendation support only, and the client is solely responsible for completing and verifying all bookings directly with third‑party providers.

3. Bespoke Travel Design Services

Our Bespoke Travel Design Services offer curated research, recommendations, and planning tailored to your interests and travel profile. Depending on the scope of your service agreement, these services may include background materials, an at-a-glance itinerary, a day-to-day travel guide, curated hotel and fine-dining recommendations, suggested activities and expert tours, visitor information, useful links, maps, timetables, local insights, and other supplemental materials.

The possibility of assistance with certain on‑the‑ground bookings or reservations will be discussed during your initial consultation. Any such assistance must be specifically requested and expressly included in your written service agreement. Unless booking assistance is expressly included in that agreement, references to “assistance” mean informational and planning support only and do not include making reservations or completing bookings on your behalf.

Our services do not include purchasing flights or assuming responsibility for airline bookings, ticketing, fare changes, cancellations, delays, or schedule disruptions.

You are responsible for complying with all passport, visa, vaccination, insurance, accessibility, mobility, health, and entry requirements applicable to your trip. T3 is not liable for delays, closures, cancellations, or disruptions resulting from weather, government action, third-party decisions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, schedules, performance, service quality, or policies of any third-party travel provider.

4. Orders, Payments Taxes and Delivery

Pre-Planned Itineraries and Other Digital Products

All orders for Pre-Planned Itineraries and other Digital Products are subject to acceptance by The Traveler’s Triptych™. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change at any time prior to purchase. Applicable taxes, including sales tax where required, may be added at checkout.

Payment for Pre-Planned Itineraries and other Digital Products is due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise expressly stated. If payment is declined, reversed, refunded through a chargeback, or otherwise fails, The Traveler’s Triptych™ may withhold, suspend, or revoke access to the applicable Digital Product until the payment issue is resolved.

Digital Products are delivered electronically by download link, email, account access, or another digital method identified at the time of purchase. It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact information, including a valid email address, and to ensure that you have the device, software, internet access, and file compatibility necessary to receive, download, open, and use the purchased materials.

If you experience a technical issue in receiving or accessing a purchased Digital Product, you must contact The Traveler’s Triptych™ promptly using the contact information provided at the end of these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to assist with re-delivery or access issues, but we are not responsible for failures caused by incorrect customer information, spam filtering, incompatible software or devices, internet outages, third-party platform failures outside our control, or your failure to download or save the product within any stated access period.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, your purchase provides access only to the version of the Digital Product made available at the time of purchase. The Traveler’s Triptych™ may periodically review, revise, or update Digital Products offered for sale, but does not guarantee ongoing updates, future revisions, or complimentary replacement versions for previously purchased products. Requests for refreshed, updated, or revised itineraries may be offered at our discretion as a separate paid service.

Bespoke Services

Fees, payment schedule, deliverables, and any scope-specific Terms for Bespoke Services will be set out in the applicable proposal, invoice, or other written agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, work will not begin until the required initial payment has been received. Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.

You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information necessary for The Traveler’s Triptych™ to perform Bespoke Services. Delays in providing information, approvals, traveler details, or payment may delay the commencement or completion of services.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Pre-Planned Itineraries and Other Digital Products

Pre-Planned Itineraries and other Digital Products are curated, editorial products created based on research, on-the-ground experience, and information available at the time of publication. Because of the digital nature of these products, all sales of Downloadable Itineraries or other paid products are final and non-refundable once delivered or made available for download or access.

Your purchase provides access to the version of the itinerary or Digital Product available at the time of purchase. While The Traveler’s Triptych™ may periodically review and update products offered for sale, it does not guarantee ongoing updates or revisions for products already purchased. Returning customers who wish to use a previously purchased itinerary at a later date may request a refreshed or updated version for an additional fee, subject to availability. Any such update, review, or revision is a separate service unless expressly stated otherwise.

Bespoke Travel Design Services

Because Bespoke Services involve significant time, research, editorial judgment, and creative effort, the following terms apply:

  • A non‑refundable initial payment (typically 50% of the total service fee, unless otherwise stated in the service agreement) is required to begin work and secure your place in our planning calendar. Once the applicable agreement is signed and work has begun, the initial payment is non-refundable, regardless of whether travel ultimately occurs.
  • If a bespoke engagement is canceled after work has commenced, any remaining balance due, if any, will depend on the stage of work completed, the scope of research and design performed, and the deliverables already provided. This will be assessed in good faith.
  • Where Bespoke Services do not include booking assistance, The Traveler’s Triptych™ provides planning and recommendation support only, and the client remains solely responsible for completing bookings directly with third‑party providers and for complying with all supplier terms, payment deadlines, and cancellation policies.
  • Where a particular bespoke engagement expressly includes limited booking assistance, the client remains responsible for reviewing and confirming all traveler details, booking details, supplier terms, payment obligations, cancellation rules, and reservation terms before completion, and remains the contracting party with the third‑party provider. The client also remains solely responsible for any supplier‑imposed cancellation fees, change fees, penalties, or losses arising from changes to or cancellation of third‑party bookings.
  • If a bespoke engagement has been paid in full and your travel plans later change or are postponed, The Traveler’s Triptych™ may, at its discretion, offer a limited courtesy review of the itinerary before the new travel dates to assess whether core recommendations remain generally current. This courtesy review may address minor date shifts or small adjustments but does not include a full redesign, a change in destination or theme, significant restructuring of routes or days, or substantial new research beyond the original engagement. Any more extensive updates or redesigns may be offered as a separate paid service.
  • Paid updates, redesigns, or new planning work may be offered on request and, if accepted, will be billed as a separate service.

6. Bookings and On-Site Arrangements

The Traveler’s Triptych™ does not operate tours, does not sell travel packages, and does not act as the merchant of record for third-party travel services. We do not book flights and do not charge, collect, hold, or transfer client funds for third-party travel services. All travel-related costs, supplier charges, deposits, cancellation fees, and other third-party expenses remain your responsibility.

In most cases, our role is limited to itinerary conceptualization, personalization (Bespoke Services only), planning guidance, curated recommendations, and practical information, tips, and tools. In certain Bespoke Services engagements, and only where expressly agreed in writing, we may provide limited assistance with arranging on-the-ground services such as hotel reservations, venue entry tickets, expert tours, restaurant reservations, or similar travel-related arrangements. Any such assistance is limited to the scope expressly agreed for that engagement.

Where booking assistance is provided, bookings may be made using your own payment details, including credit card information you choose to provide for that purpose. In all such cases, you remain the contracting party with each third-party provider and are solely responsible for reviewing and approving traveler information, reservation details, supplier terms, payment obligations, cancellation rules, and any other booking conditions before a reservation is completed. Your provision of payment details for a booking constitutes your authorization for The Traveler’s Triptych™ to use those details solely as directed to facilitate the agreed booking assistance.

The Traveler’s Triptych™ is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, pricing, policies, performance, accessibility, safety, quality, or suitability of any third-party provider, nor for any losses, delays, penalties, change fees, cancellation fees, booking errors caused by inaccurate information provided by you, or disputes arising from third-party bookings. Any questions, changes, claims, refund requests, or disputes relating to third-party services remain between you and the applicable provider, subject to any rights or assistance expressly stated elsewhere in these Terms or in a separate written agreement.

7. Third-Party Services and Recommendations

Third Party Services

As part of our itineraries and bespoke travel planning services, The Traveler’s Triptych™ may recommend third-party services, including but not limited to hotels, restaurants, cultural venues, tour operators, guides, transportation providers, and ticketing platforms.

  • These entities operate independently and are not owned, managed, or controlled by The Traveler’s Triptych™.
  • These recommendations are made in good faith but do not constitute a legal endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of the availability, quality, safety, legality, or performance of any third-party service. We are not responsible for changes to schedules, closures, pricing, policies, or other conditions imposed by third-party providers.
  • All third-party services are subject to their own terms, conditions, policies, pricing, and availability. Your relationship with any third-party provider is independent of The Traveler’s Triptych™, and any issues arising from third-party services must be resolved directly with the provider.
  • You are responsible for reviewing the terms, conditions, and policies of any third-party provider before completing a booking or purchase. Your interactions with such providers are solely between you and the provider, and The Traveler’s Triptych™ is not liable for any loss, delay, injury, inconvenience, or other issue arising from third-party actions or services.

Philanthropic Recommendations

From time to time, our itineraries or Bespoke Services may also include philanthropic recommendations for local NGOs, cultural institutions, or community organizations.

  • These recommendations are based on publicly available information, independent research, and, where applicable, third-party monitoring reports, sustainability program reporting, or governance resources. We do not conduct audits, financial or legal due diligence, nor do we uniformly conduct on-the-ground verification of each organization.
  • All philanthropic and charitable recommendations are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, governance practices, financial condition, legitimacy, or performance of any organization we reference.
  • You are solely responsible for evaluating any organization and for making your own decisions regarding donations or contributions.
  • The Traveler’s Triptych™ is not liable for any loss, misrepresentation, misuse of funds, or other issues arising from your interactions with or contributions to any organization.
