Disclaimers and Limitations Notice

The Traveler’s Triptych™ LLC

As of 31 December 2025

At The Traveler’s Triptych, we believe that travel should be thoughtful, inclusive, and enriching. We strive to provide accurate information about accessibility, mobility considerations, and on-the-ground conditions at the destinations we cover. However, the availability of accessible infrastructure, mobility accommodations, and disability-friendly services can vary significantly across cities, venues, and countries.

This page provides additional explanations about accessibility, third-party limitations, and general travel-related considerations, as well as explaining what you can expect from us, what we can and cannot guarantee, and your responsibilities as a traveler. It supports, but does not replace, the Terms of Service.

Summary

This summary highlights the key points of our Disclaimers & Limitations Notice. It is provided for convenience only and does not replace the full Notice.

  • Accessibility information is provided as a general guide only. We share accessibility notes when possible, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or current conditions at any destination, venue, or service provider.
  • Mobility, health, and medical needs must be assessed by the traveler. We can incorporate the information you choose to share into itinerary planning, but we cannot evaluate whether a destination, activity, or environment is medically or physically appropriate for you.
  • Accessibility standards abroad vary widely and may be limited. Ramps, elevators, smooth pavements, accessible restrooms, and step-free routes may be unavailable or inconsistent, particularly in historic districts or older buildings.
  • Third-party services operate independently of The Traveler’s Triptych. Hotels, restaurants, museums, venues, guides, and transportation providers are responsible for their own accessibility practices. Travelers must verify current conditions directly with each provider.
  • Travelers are responsible for confirming accessibility details. This includes contacting hotels and venues, assessing personal health or mobility limitations, understanding local conditions, and determining whether an itinerary element is appropriate for their needs.
  • We are not liable for accessibility limitations, injuries, delays, or inconveniences. All travel involves risk, and local conditions, including terrain, weather, infrastructure, and cultural norms, may affect accessibility and safety.

Please read the full Notice for details on your responsibilities and our limitations.

1. General Accessibility Information

Accessibility considerations are included primarily in our pre-planned itineraries and bespoke travel services, where such information is available and relevant, e.g., elevator access, ramp availability, public transportation limitations, step-free routes, or venue-specific accommodations. Much of this information is sourced from:

  • Official venue or tourism board websites
  • Government accessibility resources
  • Direct inquiries to hotels, restaurants, and cultural institutions
  • On-the-ground research during our own travels

The provision of accessibility information in our blog posts depends upon the nature of the post.

Because conditions may change without notice, we cannot guarantee that accessibility features will be available, operational, or suitable for your specific needs at the time of your travel.

2. Mobility, Health, and Medical Considerations

If you choose to share information about mobility needs, health conditions, dietary restrictions, allergies, sensory sensitivities, or other medical considerations, we will use this information solely to tailor your travel planning experience. However:

  • We are not medical professionals.
  • We do not provide medical advice.
  • While we may provide general observations about terrain, accessibility challenges, availability of menus catering to dietary restrictions, or typical conditions at certain destinations, we cannot fully assess whether any destination, venue, or activity is medically or physically appropriate for your specific condition.
  • We cannot guarantee the availability of medical facilities, emergency services, or appropriate accommodations abroad.

You are responsible for consulting with your medical provider before traveling and for ensuring that you have adequate medical insurance, medications, mobility aids, and emergency plans.

3. Limitations of Accessibility Abroad

Accessibility standards in Austria, Germany, Czechia, Hungary, and other destinations we cover may vary widely compared to each other, those in the United States, the United Kingdom, or your home country. In many cases:

  • Historic buildings may have limited or no step-free access.
  • Elevators may be small, outdated, or periodically out of service.
  • Public transportation may not provide consistent accessibility across all lines or stations.
  • Sidewalks may be uneven, cobblestoned, or steep.

We will alert you to known limitations when possible, but we cannot guarantee full accessibility in any destination.

4. Third Party Services and Accessibility

Hotels, restaurants, cultural institutions, tour companies, and transportation providers are independent entities. We do not own or control their facilities, staff, or accessibility practices.

We cannot guarantee the quality, safety, accuracy, or availability of accessibility features such as:

  • Wheelchair ramps
  • Accessible bathrooms
  • Step-free entrances
  • Elevator access
  • Reserved seating
  • Captioned or audio-described experiences

The third-party provider remains solely responsible for delivering any accommodations.

Traveler Responsibilities

Your responsibilities differ depending on whether you are using a pre-planned itinerary or engaging in bespoke travel design services.

If you are using one of our downloadable or pre-planned itineraries, you are responsible for:

  • Verifying accessibility information directly with hotels, restaurants, venues, or transportation providers
  • Confirming the suitability of routes, attractions, and activities for your needs
  • Assessing whether terrain, distances, elevation changes, or mobility challenges are manageable for you
  • Ensuring you have the appropriate medical, mobility, or support resources for your trip

Our itineraries may contain general accessibility notes when available, but they are not a substitute for real-time confirmation.

If you engage T3 for bespoke travel planning, we will:

  • Ask about your accessibility, mobility, or health-related needs
  • Vet accommodations with third-party providers
  • Incorporate available accessibility information into our planning
  • Communicate any known limitations, challenges, or uncertainties

However, even with bespoke services:

  • Accessibility conditions may change without notice.
  • We rely on the information provided to us by third parties.
  • We cannot guarantee the availability, suitability, or accuracy of accessibility features.
  • You remain responsible for assessing whether a destination or activity is appropriate for your individual medical or mobility needs.

Regardless of the type of service, you are responsible for:

  • Consulting with your medical provider about travel feasibility
  • Bringing necessary medications, mobility aids, or emergency plans
  • Purchasing adequate travel insurance
  • Making final decisions about whether an activity, route, or venue is appropriate for your personal needs

6. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive to provide thoughtful, accurate, and safety-conscious travel planning guidance, The Traveler’s Triptych:

  • Does not guarantee accessibility at any specific destination, hotel, venue, or experience
  • Is not liable for any injury, illness, delay, inconvenience, or loss arising from accessibility limitations or medical considerations
  • Is not responsible for errors, omissions, changes, or misrepresentations made by third-party providers
  • Cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, closures, construction, public transportation disruptions, or changes to accessibility features

Your use of our services signifies your agreement that accessibility and mobility decisions are undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

7. Questions or Requests

We are committed to offering thoughtful, respectful, and inclusive support. If you have questions about how we approach accessibility in our travel planning or would like to request accommodations in the way we communicate with you, please contact us at:
