The Traveler’s Triptych™ LLC
Last Updated: 24 June 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how The Traveler’s Triptych™ LLC (“T3,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on thetravelerstriptych.com.
Strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies may be used where required to operate and secure the website, process transactions, provide requested services, deliver or manage access to Digital Products, and remember your privacy choices.
Where required by applicable law, nonessential cookies and similar technologies will be used only after you provide consent through the cookie-preference controls available on our website.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They may allow a website to function properly, maintain security, remember preferences, support transactions, and provide information about how visitors interact with the site.
Cookies may include:
- Session cookies, which generally expire when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a specified period or until deleted
- First-party cookies, which are placed by or on behalf of the website you are visiting
- Third-party cookies, which are placed or accessed by an external service provider
In this Policy, references to “cookies” also include similar technologies where applicable, such as pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, link identifiers, and other technologies used to store or access information on a device, recognize a browser or session, attribute referrals, or measure interactions with websites, forms, emails, or embedded content.
2. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes.
A. Strictly Necessary or Essential Technologies
Strictly necessary or essential technologies support functions required to operate the website, provide a service requested by a visitor, protect the site, complete a transaction, or remember privacy choices.
These technologies may support:
- Page loading and website navigation
- Website and transaction security
- Fraud prevention and abuse detection
- Shopping-cart and checkout functions
- Payment processing
- Session management
- Electronic delivery of or access to Digital Products
- Storage of cookie and privacy preferences
- Technical functions necessary to maintain website availability and performance
Some essential technologies may be provided by WordPress, WooCommerce, payment processors, website-security services, hosting providers, or other providers necessary to operate the website and fulfill transactions.
These technologies cannot ordinarily be disabled through our cookie-preference controls. You may be able to block them through your browser settings, but doing so may prevent parts of the website, checkout process, or Digital Product delivery system from functioning properly.
B. Analytics Technologies
With your consent where required, we use analytics technologies to help us understand how visitors use the website, identify technical issues, and improve its content, structure, navigation, and user experience.
Depending on the services currently enabled, these technologies may collect information such as:
- Pages viewed
- Approximate visit duration
- Referral source
- General device and browser information
- Interactions with website features
- General geographic information
- Technical errors and site-performance information
We may use Google Analytics or similar analytics and performance services. Where available and appropriate, we may configure these services to limit the information collected, shorten retention periods, or use available privacy-enhancing settings.
Rejecting analytics technologies may reduce the amount of usage and performance information available to help us understand how visitors interact with the site.
C. Preference and Functionality Technologies
Depending on the optional features made available on the website, we may use preference or functionality technologies to remember choices such as display, language, accessibility, form, or other website preferences.
These technologies may also support optional features or make the website more convenient to use. Where such technologies are active and consent is required, they will be used in accordance with your cookie choices. This category may contain no listed cookies when no applicable technologies are currently active or identified.
D. Checkout, Payment, and Digital-Delivery Technologies
When you download or purchase a Pre-Planned Itinerary or another Digital Product, third-party checkout and payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to:
- Maintain your shopping cart or checkout session
- Process and authenticate payment
- Detect and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal or regulatory requirements
- Confirm completion or failure of a transaction
- Facilitate electronic delivery of or access to the purchased Digital Product
Payment and checkout services may be provided by a payment processor used by T3. These providers process information under their own terms, privacy policies, and cookie policies.
T3 does not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment-card details when payment is processed through a third-party payment provider.
E. Affiliate Tracking Technologies
The Traveler’s Triptych™ does not currently participate in affiliate marketing programs.
If we introduce affiliate links in the future, third-party affiliate program providers may use cookies, tracking pixels, link identifiers, or similar technologies to record that a visitor followed a specially tracked link and to attribute a qualifying purchase or booking to T3.
Depending on the provider and technology used, information collected may include:
- The date and time of a referral
- The referring page or source
- Device or browser information
- A link, session, or referral identifier
- Whether a qualifying transaction occurred
- The product, service, or booking associated with the transaction
- The transaction value or status
- Related attribution information
The applicable third-party provider controls its own collection and use of this information under its privacy and cookie policies.
T3 may receive limited reporting information, such as whether a qualifying transaction occurred, the booking made, the product or service purchased, the transaction value, and the resulting referral fee. We do not ordinarily receive your full payment details or other information that directly identifies you through the affiliate relationship.
For additional information about how future affiliate links will be identified, please review our Affiliate Disclosure.
3. Third-Party Cookies and Similar Technologies
Some website functions are provided by third parties that may place or access cookies or use similar technologies when you interact with their services.
You may use the cookie-preference controls available on our website to:
- Website analytics and performance providers
- Email marketing and form providers
- Payment and checkout providers
- Website hosting, content-delivery, security, and fraud-prevention providers
- Map, video, audio, and other embedded-content providers
- Social media platforms
- Affiliate program providers, if affiliate relationships are introduced in the future
Third-party technologies may collect information about your browser, device, interactions, referral source, or use of a particular website feature. Embedded content may allow the provider of that content to collect information when the content loads or when you interact with it.
Third-party providers control their own technologies and process information according to their respective terms, privacy policies, and cookie policies. T3 does not control all third-party technologies or determine how long third parties retain information collected through them.
Kit Email and Form Technologies
We use Kit to manage email subscription forms and newsletter communications.
Depending on the features enabled, Kit may use cookies, pixels, tracked links, or similar technologies to:
- Process or attribute form submissions
- Recognize returning subscribers
- Deliver email communications
- Measure interactions with newsletters
- Record whether an email was opened or a link was selected
- Help us understand subscriber engagement
Information collected through these functions is handled in accordance with Kit’s applicable privacy and cookie policies and, where relevant, your cookie and email preferences..
Embedded Content
Our website may include embedded maps, videos, audio, social media content, or other material supplied by third-party providers.
Embedded content may behave in a manner similar to visiting the third party’s own website. The provider may collect information, use cookies or similar technologies, or record your interaction with the embedded feature.
Where required by applicable law and supported by our website configuration, nonessential embedded content may be restricted until you provide the relevant consent.
4. Your Cookie Choices
Where cookie-preference controls are available, you may use them to:
- Accept all available cookie categories
- Reject nonessential cookies
- Select particular categories of nonessential cookies
- Change or withdraw your consent later
The preference center may display categories for which no cookies are currently listed. This generally indicates that CookieYes has not identified or classified any active cookies within that category at the time the information is displayed.
The choices displayed to you may vary depending on your location, applicable law, and the technologies currently active on the website. Where consent is legally required, nonessential cookies and similar technologies will not be activated before the required consent is obtained.
Rejecting nonessential cookies will not ordinarily prevent you from accessing the website’s core content. However, some optional, embedded, personalized, or preference-based functions may be unavailable or may not work as intended.
You may also use your browser settings to block, restrict, or delete cookies. Browser controls vary, and blocking all cookies may affect website navigation, security, checkout, payment, or delivery functions.
Deleting browser cookies may also delete a stored record of your cookie preferences, which could cause the website to ask you to make those choices again.
Browser controls may not block every type of similar technology, such as tracking pixels, link identifiers, or certain forms of local storage. Where available, the website’s cookie-preference controls should be used to manage the categories covered by those controls.
5. Cookie Duration and Current Cookie Details
Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a specified duration or until they are deleted.
Current information about cookies identified on the website, including their categories, purposes, providers, and typical durations, is available through our cookie-preference tool. Some categories may display no cookies where no technologies in that category are currently active or have been identified.
Because our website, plugins, Digital Product sales functions, service providers, and third-party technologies may change, the cookies and related information shown may also change over time. We periodically rescan the website and review the cookie information made available through the preference tool.
6. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in:
- Our website or services
- Technologies used on the website
- Payment, email, analytics, affiliate, or other service providers
- Applicable legal or regulatory requirements
- Our privacy and data-handling practices
Any revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of the page.
