Summary

This summary is offered to help you understand the key points of our Terms of Service. It is not a substitute for the full Terms below, which form the legally binding agreement between you and The Traveler’s Triptych.

  • What we do: We provide curated travel content, pre-planned itineraries, and bespoke travel design services. We are not a travel agency and do not book flights or operate tours.
  • Your responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate information, review all third-party terms and conditions, and make final decisions about whether destinations, routes, venues, or activities are appropriate for your needs.
  • Third-party providers: We may recommend hotels, restaurants, tours, and other services operated by independent providers. These third parties have their own policies and are solely responsible for their services. We cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, safety, or performance.
  • Bookings and on-site payments: You are responsible for direct payment to third-party providers for flights, accommodations, entrance fees, ground transportation, performance tickets, tours, and other travel-related expenses.
  • Cancellations and refunds: Bespoke travel design services require a non-refundable initial payment once work begins. Downloadable itineraries are non-refundable. Updated or refreshed versions of previously purchased itineraries may be available for an additional fee.
  • Philanthropic recommendations: Suggestions for NGOs or cultural organizations are informational only. We do not perform due diligence or guarantee accuracy, governance quality, or financial integrity.
  • Intellectual property: Our itineraries, photography, writing, and digital products are protected and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.
  • Limitations of liability: We are not liable for injuries, losses, delays, accessibility barriers, weather, closures, or any issues arising from third-party services or your travel decisions.

Please read the full Terms of Service below to understand your rights and obligations.

1. Use At Your Own Risk

All itineraries, recommendations, articles, maps, travel notes, and personalized planning services are provided for informational and personal use only. While we strive to offer accurate, up-to-date, well-researched, and experience-based insights, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability, safety, cost, or quality of any destinations, accommodations, transportation, restaurants, tours, events, or third-party services mentioned in our materials.

Travel inherently involves risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, property loss, service disruptions, safety issues, closures, political developments, weather, and logistical changes. You accept full responsibility for any travel decisions you make based on our content or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Traveler’s Triptych disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, onsequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our content and services.

2. Accuracy of Information and Updates

Travel information changes frequently. Prices, hours, availability, safety conditions, cultural regulations, holiday schedules, ticketing systems, opening times, visa requirements, and other factors may change without. notice.

You are solely responsible for verifying current information before making bookings, reservations, or travel decisions, regardless of whether the information came from our free content, downloadable itineraries, or bespoke planning services.

3. Custom Travel design Services

Our bespoke travel design services provide curated recommendations, research, and planning tailored to your interests and travel profile. These services may include suggested routes, curated lists, daily plans, guides, maps, timetables, and local insights. Any references to “assistance” relate only to informational support and do not include booking or making reservations on your behalf

Unless expressly stated in writing, our services do not include the purchase of flights or assuming responsibility for airline bookings, ticketing, fare changes, or schedule disruptions.

You are responsible for complying with all passport, visa, vaccination insurance, accessibility, mobility, and entry requirements for your trip. T3 is not liable for any delays, closures, or disruptions resulting from weather or other conditions outside our control.

We make no guarantees regarding availability, pricing, schedule, adherence, performance, or policies of any third-party travel providers.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Bespoke Travel Design Services

Because bespoke travel design services involve significant time, research, and creative effort, the following terms apply:

  • A non-refundable initial payment (typically 50% of the total service fee) is required to begin work and secures your place in our planning calendar.
  • Once the service agreement is signed and work has begun, the initial payment is non-refundable, regardless of whether travel ultimately occurs.
  • If a bespoke engagement is cancelled after work has commenced:
    • Any remaining balance may be due depending on the stage of work completed at the time of cancellation.
    • We will assess this in good faith based on the scope of research, design, and deliverables already provided.
    • Because we do not book travel on your behalf, bespoke itineraries are not tied to a specific travel date and may generally be used at a later time.
  • If a bespoke travel design engagement is paid in full upfront, and travel plans change or are postponed, we may offer one complimentary review of the itinerary prior to your new travel dates to assess whether key recommendations remain current. This courtesy review is intended to confirm general accuracy and availability and does not include:
    • a full redesign of the itinerary
    • new destinations or themes
    • significant restructuring of days or routes
    • additional research beyond the original scope
  • At your request, we may offer paid updates, redesigns, or new planning before your new travel dates.

Pre-Planned (Downloadable) Itineraries

Downloadable itineraries offered by The Traveler’s Triptych are curated, editorial products that are created based on research, on-the-ground experience, and information available at the time of publication. Travel conditions, hours of operation, pricing, availability, and venues may change over time. The following terms apply:

  • All sales of downloadable itineraries are final.
  • Due to the digital nature of these products, they are non-refundable once delivered or downloaded.
  • Your purchase grants access to the version of the itinerary available at the time of purchase. While The Traveler’s Triptych may periodically review and update itineraries offered for sale, we do not guarantee ongoing updates or revisions for itineraries already purchased.
  • Returning customers who wish to use a previously purchased itinerary at a later date may request a refreshed or updated version for a reduced fee, subject to availability. Any such updates are offered as a separate service and are not included in the original purchase price unless explicitly stated. Requests for refreshed or updated itineraries may be submitted using the contact information provided below.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage. Such insurance is the best protection against unforeseen events that may affect your travel plans.

  • These entities operate independently and are not owned, managed, or controlled by The Traveler’s Triptych.
  • These recommendations are made in good faith but do not constitute a legal endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of the availability, quality, safety, legality, or performance of any third-party service. We are not responsible for changes to schedules, closures, pricing, policies, or other conditions imposed by third-party providers.
  • All third-party services are subject to their own terms, conditions, policies, pricing, and availability. Your relationship with any third-party provider is independent of The Traveler’s Triptych, and any issues arising from third-party services must be resolved directly with the provider.
  • You are responsible for reviewing the terms, conditions, and policies of any third-party provider before completing a booking or purchase. Your interactions with such providers are solely between you and the provider, and The Traveler’s Triptych is not liable for any loss, delay, injury, inconvenience, or other issue arising from third-party actions or services.

Philanthropic Recommendations

  • These recommendations are based on publicly available information, independent research, and, where applicable, third-party monitoring reports, sustainability program reporting, or governance resources. We do not conduct audits, financial or legal due diligence, nor do we uniformly conduct on-the-ground verification of each organization.
  • All philanthropic and charitable recommendations are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, governance practices, financial condition, legitimacy, or performance of any organization we reference.
  • You are solely responsible for evaluating any organization and for making your own decisions regarding donations or contributions.
