Disclaimers and Limitations Notice

The Traveler’s Triptych™ LLC

As of 23 June 2026

At The Traveler’s Triptych™, we believe that travel should be thoughtful, inclusive, and enriching. We strive to provide accurate and useful information about accessibility, mobility considerations, on-the-ground conditions, and the practical realities of travel in the destinations we cover. However, accessibility features, transportation services, venue operations, safety conditions, and other local circumstances can vary significantly and may change without notice.

This Notice provides additional information about accessibility, third-party limitations, and general travel-related considerations. It also explains what you can expect from us, what we can and cannot guarantee, and your responsibilities as a traveler.

Summary

This summary highlights the key points of our Disclaimers & Limitations Notice. It is provided for convenience only and does not replace the full Notice.

  • Accessibility information is provided as a general guide only. We share accessibility notes when possible, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or current conditions at any destination, venue, or service provider.
  • Mobility, health, and medical needs must be assessed by the traveler. We can incorporate the information you choose to share into Bespoke Travel Services, but we cannot evaluate whether a destination, activity, or environment is medically or physically appropriate for you.
  • Accessibility standards abroad vary widely and may be limited. Ramps, elevators, smooth pavements, accessible restrooms, and step-free routes may be unavailable or inconsistent, particularly in historic districts or older buildings.
  • Third-party services operate independently of The Traveler’s Triptych. Hotels, restaurants, museums, venues, guides, and transportation providers are responsible for their own accessibility practices. Travelers must verify current conditions directly with each provider.
  • Travelers are responsible for confirming accessibility details. This includes contacting hotels and venues, assessing personal health or mobility limitations, understanding local conditions, and determining whether an itinerary element is appropriate for their needs.
  • Travel conditions and itinerary elements may change without notice. Closures, strikes, delays, protests, crowding, renovations, exhibit changes, weather, public-health developments, and other disruptions may affect availability, access, safety, timing, or the overall travel experience. Travelers must verify current conditions and make appropriate on-the-ground decisions.
  • Travelers are responsible for evaluating and purchasing suitable travel insurance. The Traveler’s Triptych does not sell insurance, provide insurance advice, or guarantee that any policy will cover a particular event, destination, activity, or loss.
  • We are not liable for accessibility limitations, injuries, delays, or inconveniences. All travel involves risk, and local conditions, including terrain, weather, infrastructure, and cultural norms, may affect accessibility and safety.

Please read the full Notice for details on your responsibilities and our limitations.

1. General Accessibility Information

Accessibility considerations are included primarily in our Pre-Planned Itineraries and Bespoke Travel Services, where such information is available and relevant, e.g., elevator access, ramp availability, public transportation limitations, step-free routes, or venue-specific accommodations. Much of this information is sourced from:

  • Official venue or tourism board websites
  • Government accessibility resources
  • Direct inquiries to hotels, restaurants, and cultural institutions
  • On-the-ground research and vetting

The provision of accessibility information in our blog posts depends upon the nature of the post.

Because conditions may change without notice, we cannot guarantee that accessibility features will be available, operational, or suitable for your specific needs at the time of your travel.

2. Mobility, Health, and Medical Considerations

If you choose to share information about mobility needs, health conditions, dietary restrictions, allergies, sensory sensitivities, or other medical considerations, we will use this information solely to tailor your travel planning experience. However:

  • We are not medical professionals.
  • We do not provide medical advice.
  • While we may provide general observations about terrain, accessibility challenges, availability of menus catering to dietary restrictions, or typical conditions at certain destinations, we cannot fully assess whether any destination, venue, or activity is medically or physically appropriate for your specific condition.
  • We cannot guarantee the availability or suitability of medical facilities, emergency services, or appropriate accommodations abroad.

You are responsible for consulting with your medical provider before traveling and for ensuring that you have adequate medical insurance, medications, mobility aids, and emergency plans.

3. Limitations of Accessibility Abroad

Accessibility standards in Austria, Germany, Czechia, Hungary, and other destinations we cover may vary widely compared to each other, those in the United States, the United Kingdom, or your home country. In many cases:

  • Historic buildings may have limited or no step-free access.
  • Elevators may be small, outdated, or periodically out of service.
  • Public transportation may not provide consistent accessibility across all lines or stations.
  • Sidewalks may be uneven, cobblestoned, or steep.

We will alert you to known limitations when possible, but we cannot guarantee full accessibility in any destination.

4. Third Party Services and Accessibility

Hotels, restaurants, cultural institutions, tour companies, and transportation providers are independent entities. We do not own or control their facilities, staff, or accessibility practices.

We cannot guarantee the quality, safety, accuracy, or availability of accessibility features such as:

  • Wheelchair ramps
  • Accessible bathrooms
  • Step-free entrances
  • Elevator access
  • Reserved seating
  • Captioned or audio-described experiences

The third-party provider remains solely responsible for delivering any accommodations.

5. General Travel Conditions, Safety, and Operational Disruptions

Travel conditions can change before or during a trip, sometimes with little or no notice. Museums, monuments, restaurants, hotels, transportation services, performance venues, and other third-party providers may alter their hours, schedules, routes, exhibits, services, admission procedures, or availability.

Potential changes or disruptions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Temporary or permanent closures
  • Strikes, labor actions, and transportation disruptions
  • Delays, cancellations, and schedule or route changes
  • Renovations, construction, restoration work, and restricted access
  • Changes to exhibitions, collections, performances, tours, or programming
  • Seasonal operating schedules and holiday closures
  • Large crowds, queues, capacity restrictions, and sold-out admission
  • Demonstrations, protests, public gatherings, and security restrictions
  • Severe weather, natural events, public-health developments, or government action
  • Changes to local laws, entry requirements, safety guidance, or public transportation
  • Unexpected conditions affecting walking routes, roads, neighborhoods, or public spaces

The Traveler’s Triptych may identify known conditions or provide practical alternatives where reasonably possible, but we cannot monitor or guarantee real-time conditions, uninterrupted access, personal safety, or the continued availability of any particular itinerary element.

Travelers are responsible for reviewing current information from official authorities, venues, transportation providers, and other relevant sources before departure and throughout their trip. You are also responsible for following local laws, official safety instructions, evacuation orders, transportation notices, and government travel advisories.

Where an itinerary element becomes unavailable, unsuitable, unsafe, or impractical, you are responsible for deciding whether to modify, postpone, replace, or discontinue that part of your plans. Suggestions or alternatives included in our content are provided for general planning purposes and do not guarantee equivalent availability, cost, accessibility, or experience.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

Your responsibilities differ depending on whether you are using a Pre-Planned Itinerary or engaging Bespoke Travel Design Services.

Pre-Planned Itineraries and Digital Products

If you are using one of our Pre-Planned Itineraries or other Digital Products, you are responsible for:

  • Verifying current information directly with hotels, restaurants, venues, transportation providers, and other relevant third parties
  • Confirming that routes, attractions, activities, accommodations, and services are suitable for your individual needs
  • Assessing whether terrain, distances, elevation changes, walking requirements, accessibility limitations, or other local conditions are manageable for you
  • Ensuring that you have appropriate medical, mobility, insurance, and other support arrangements in place

Our itineraries may include general accessibility, mobility, operational, and safety-related information when available, but this information is not a substitute for real-time confirmation or your own judgment.

Bespoke Travel Design Services

If you engage T3 for Bespoke Travel Design Services, we may:

  • Ask about accessibility, mobility, dietary, health-related, or other practical needs that you choose to disclose
  • Seek information from relevant third-party providers
  • Incorporate available information into your travel plan
  • Communicate known limitations, challenges, uncertainties, or operational concerns

However, even with Bespoke Travel Design Services:

  • Conditions may change without notice
  • We rely in part on information supplied by third parties
  • We cannot guarantee the availability, suitability, accuracy, safety, or continued operation of any accessibility feature, service, venue, route, or itinerary element

Responsibilities Applicable to All Travelers

Regardless of the service or content used, you remain responsible for:

  • Consulting appropriate medical or other qualified professionals about your ability to travel
  • Carrying necessary medications, mobility aids, documentation, and emergency resources
  • Evaluating and purchasing travel insurance appropriate to your circumstances
  • Reviewing current official information, safety guidance, entry requirements, transportation notices, and provider updates before and during your trip
  • Making all final decisions about whether a destination, activity, route, venue, service, or itinerary element is appropriate for you

7. Travel Insurance

Travelers are strongly encouraged to consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance for their individual circumstances. Depending on the policy selected, travel insurance may provide coverage for certain events such as trip cancellation or interruption, medical or dental treatment abroad, emergency evacuation, travel delays, missed connections, baggage loss or delay, or other covered losses.

The scope, exclusions, eligibility requirements, coverage limits, documentation requirements, and claims procedures vary significantly among insurers and policies. Coverage may also depend on when the policy is purchased, the traveler’s age, health, destination, planned activities, and the circumstances giving rise to a claim.

The Traveler’s Triptych is not an insurer, insurance broker, or licensed insurance adviser. We do not evaluate, sell, underwrite, administer, or guarantee insurance coverage, and we cannot determine whether a particular policy is suitable for your needs. Any general reference to travel insurance is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute insurance, legal, medical, or financial advice.

You are responsible for reviewing policy terms carefully, confirming that your intended destinations and activities are covered, understanding any exclusions or pre-existing-condition provisions, and purchasing coverage directly from a qualified provider. Any insurance claim or coverage dispute is solely between you and the applicable insurer.

8. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive to provide thoughtful, accurate, and safety-conscious travel planning guidance, The Traveler’s Triptych:

  • Does not guarantee accessibility, availability, safety, suitability, or uninterrupted access at any destination, hotel, venue, route, activity, service, or experience
  • Is not liable for injury, illness, loss, delay, cancellation, inconvenience, additional expense, or disruption arising from travel conditions, accessibility limitations, medical considerations, third-party actions, or traveler decisions
  • Is not responsible for errors, omissions, changes, cancellations, or misrepresentations by third-party providers
  • Cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, construction, closures, strikes, transportation disruptions, protests, government action, public-health events, security restrictions, or changes to schedules, exhibits, services, or accessibility features

By using our content or services, you acknowledge that accessibility, mobility, safety, and other travel decisions remain your responsibility and are undertaken at your own discretion and risk, subject to the applicable Terms of Service.
