The Traveler’s Triptych™ (“T3”) does not currently participate in affiliate marketing programs. This policy explains how any future affiliate relationships and links will be identified and disclosed.

Affiliate marketing is an arrangement in which a business may pay The Traveler’s Triptych™ a referral fee when a reader follows a specially tracked link and completes a qualifying purchase or booking. The referral fee is paid by the third-party provider and does not ordinarily increase the price charged to the reader.

Content containing affiliate links will include a clear disclosure near the beginning of the affected page, post, itinerary, guide, or other material. Where applicable, individual affiliate links may also be identified by the symbol ⓐ. The symbol ⓐ indicates that the adjacent link is an affiliate link through which T3 may earn a referral fee from a qualifying purchase or booking. Social media posts containing affiliate links or other compensated recommendations will include an appropriate disclosure within the post itself.

Affiliate marketing helps support our work, including on-the-ground research, writing, photography, and the creation of thoughtfully curated travel resources. We only recommend places, products, and services that we genuinely believe may be of interest or benefit to our readers and clients. Our editorial opinions and bespoke recommendations remain independent. Affiliate relationships do not determine which places, products, or services we recommend, influence our assessment of them, or guarantee favorable coverage.

Affiliate links may appear in:

  • the Travel Resources page
  • Blog posts
  • Pre-Planned Itineraries, mobile companions, downloadable guides, and other Digital Products
  • Email newsletters
  • Social media content

We may receive limited reporting information from affiliate partners, such as whether a qualifying transaction occurred, the booking or the product or service purchased, the transaction value, and the resulting referral fee. We do not ordinarily receive your full payment details or other information that directly identifies you through the affiliate relationship. Information collected by the third-party provider is governed by its own privacy and cookie policies.
